		<description>Hello, Liam.

I want to thank you for initiating this weblog about alternative distribution.

I have just returned to Los Angeles after spending several years in North Carolina. On the very day of my return, I attended the Filmmakers Alliance Awards and Screening at the Directors Guild where I found out about this website. I had not known about Filmmakers Alliance until a few months ago, but now that I am connected, I am really quite delighted to find this wonderful organization, and now your blog.

In addition to being a producer and movie maker with a degree in film scholarship, I also have my degree in computer science and information technology as it relates to the business of motion pictures. I have been thinking about using the internet as a distribution medium for pictures since the very early days of the pc. I'm very excited that the time for this technology to serve us is now, and I have plenty to say about it. I hope to participate fully with you here in your blog as time goes by.

kindest regards,
Rodney Recor
